2. Ordering & Payments
Q: How do I pay for my order? A: Since Craftory is a multi-vendor venue, you pay the Artisan directly. We support Cash on Delivery (COD) and Direct Bank Transfer for all shops. Some artisans also accept secure online payments via Visa/Mastercard (processed securely through PayHere).
Q: Is it safe to pay online? A: Yes. If an artisan accepts online payments, the transaction is processed through PayHere, a Central Bank of Sri Lanka approved provider. Craftory.lk does not store your card details or hold your money; the payment goes directly to the seller's account.
Q: Can I cancel my order? A: Orders can be cancelled if the Artisan has not yet shipped the item. Please contact the Artisan directly through their shop page or our support hotline immediately at 070 519 6446 if you need to make changes.
3. Shipping & Delivery
Q: Who delivers my order? A: The Artisan ships the product directly to you. They choose their preferred courier partner (e.g., Domex, Prompt, Certis).
Q: How long does delivery take? A: Delivery times vary by Artisan and your location. Typically, orders arrive within 3 to 7 working days. You will receive tracking updates from the Artisan once your order is dispatched.
Q: How much is the delivery fee? A: Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on the total weight of your items and your delivery location.
4. Returns & Refunds
Q: What if I receive a damaged or incorrect item? A: We apologize for the inconvenience. Please contact the Artisan directly within 48 hours of receiving the package.
- Note: Since you pay the Artisan directly, all refunds and replacements are handled by them. However, if an Artisan refuses to resolve a valid issue, please contact Craftory Support—we can mediate the dispute or take action against the seller's account to protect our community.
Q: Do you offer a warranty? A: Warranties are determined by the individual Artisan. Please check the "Product Description" section of the item you are buying for specific warranty details.
5. Selling on Craftory
Q: I am an artisan. How can I sell on Craftory? A: We are looking for Sri Lanka's best talent! You can register as a vendor directly on our website. You will need to complete a quick Identity Verification (KYC) process to ensure platform safety. Once approved, you can set up your store instantly.
Q: What are the fees for selling? A: We have a special launch offer!
