Craftory.lk (the "Site") acts exclusively as a technology venue and online marketplace to allow independent third-party artisans ("Vendors") to list and sell their products to potential customers ("Buyers").
- We are not the Seller: Craftory.lk is not the manufacturer, distributor, or retailer of any products listed on this Site. The contract of sale is strictly entered into between the Buyer and the Vendor.
- No Endorsement: The listing of any product on Craftory.lk does not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, or recommendation by us.
2. Payment & Financial Liability
Craftory.lk is a Non-Custodial Platform. We do not hold, process, or settle funds for product transactions.
- Direct Payments: Buyers pay Vendors directly via Cash on Delivery (COD), Direct Bank Transfer, or the Vendor’s personal payment gateway.
- No Refunds from Platform: Since Craftory.lk does not hold transaction funds, we are legally unable to process refunds. Any claims for refunds, returns, or chargebacks must be directed solely to the Vendor. Craftory.lk bears no liability for financial losses arising from disputes between Buyers and Vendors.
3. Product & Safety Disclaimer
- Quality & Safety: We do not verify the quality, safety, or legality of the products listed. Users agree that Craftory.lk is not responsible for any defective, dangerous, or misrepresented items.
- Description Accuracy: Product descriptions, images, and pricing are provided entirely by the Vendor. We do not warrant that product descriptions are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.
4. Shipping & Delivery
Craftory.lk does not handle logistics or shipping.
- Decentralized Logistics: All shipping arrangements are made by the Vendor using third-party courier services.
- Liability: We are not liable for delayed shipments, lost packages, or damaged goods. Any delivery estimates provided on the Site are for informational purposes only and are not binding.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Craftory.lk, its founders, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from:
